A year ago on Friday I was making my way north of the river to a friend's birthday party. He was having drinks at a pub which was very him. When I accepted the invite I didn’t realise the journey would resemble a trip to the depths of Mordor.
I travelled with my two long hands, but remembered my passport. Earlier in the day I’d warned my friend my present to him would be petrol. His response was that my presence is a present. When I arrived, he let me buy him a drink like T-Pain anyway.
